Titan Air's steam coil units are designed using a conservative application of coil and blower manufacturers design recommendations to meet a customer's specific requirements. You can be assured of proper heating / cooling and airflow without paying for an undersized or oversized "standard" unit. Standard temperature control options include face & bypass dampers (which can be accompanied by modulating valve control at more mild outside air temperatures), modulating steam valves alone or a combination of on-off valve on pre-heat coil with modulating valve on re-heat coil. For most applications, we utilize 1" steam distributing coils (tube within a tube) that are pitched in the casing for superior freeze resistance. Larger 1" outer tubes provide better freeze resistance than competitors with smaller outer tubes. For lager coils, connection locations and quantities are selected to further enhance freeze resistance. Vertical tubes with pitched horizontal headers are handled easily with our custom equipment capabilities. We have also incorporated integral face/bypass steam coils within our equipment. Custom construction and accessories are also available for special applications. Some examples include corrosion resistant construction and PLC controls for Industrial or Process applications.
